ADIF is pleased to host a member lunch with MEP General Riho Terras,  Vice-Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Security and Defence (SEDE).  

General Terras was the Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces from 2011 to 2018 and has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2020.  A member of the European People's Party (EPP), he currently serves as vice-chair of SEDE and as a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET).  

A longstanding advocate for stronger European defence capabilities, increased burden-sharing and a strong transatlantic security relationship, General Terras brings both senior military and parliamentary experience to the debate over Europe's rapidly evolving defence agenda and its relationship with NATO
